China's industrial robot market has ranked first in the worl

From September 10 to 13, 2021 world robot Conference opened in Beijing. On September 11, at the "navigation summit" of 2021 world robotics conference, Vice Minister of industry and information technology Xin Guobin attended and delivered a keynote report.

The statistics of the International Federation of robotics show that the global robotics industry grew from 20 billion 400 million US dollars in 2016 to US $30 billion 600 million in 2019, with an average annual growth of 14.5%. Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19, service robots have been increasing against the trend. It is expected to grow 20.7% over the same period in 2020. The robot industry has increasingly become an important growth point for economic development.

Xin Guobin pointed out that the use density of industrial robots is increasing all over the world, and industrial robots have become an important part of the construction of intelligent factories. In 2019, the global manufacturing robot density averaged 113 units per 10000 people. The top five countries were 918 units in Singapore, 855 units in South Korea, 364 units in Japan, 346 units in Germany and 277 units in Sweden. China increased from 71 units per 10000 people in 2016 to 187 units per 10000 people in 2019.

Xin Guobin introduced the development of China's robot industry. China's industrial robot market has ranked first in the world for eight consecutive years. In 2020, the installed capacity accounted for 44% of the world. According to the data of the National Bureau of statistics, the output of industrial robots in China increased rapidly from 72000 sets to 212000 sets from 2016 to 2020, with an average annual growth of 31%. With the continuous release of intelligent demand in medical, elderly care, education and other industries, service robots and special robots have great development potential. In 2020, the operating revenue of service robot and special robot manufacturing enterprises above Designated Size in China was 52.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41%.

Xin Guobin said that at present, a large number of specialized new small giant enterprises have been formed in the fields of robot machine, parts and system integration, and enterprises such as Everett and tianzhixing have successively landed on the science and innovation board. Resources and innovation factors accelerate the agglomeration to areas with good foundation and great development potential of robot industry. Robot industry clusters in advantageous areas such as Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area have accelerated their development and growth.

At present, domestic industrial robots have been widely used in 47 industry categories and 129 industry categories. Industrial robot intelligent operation technology and system have been successfully applied in many high-end manufacturing industries such as aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding, automobile and engine. Service robots and special robots have achieved breakthrough applications in high value-added service scenarios such as medical surgery, education services, security inspection and post disaster rescue.

Xin Guobin pointed out that the Ministry of industry and information technology is taking the lead in formulating the robot industry development plan for the 14th five year plan. In the next step, it is necessary to break through common technologies such as robot system development, develop cutting-edge technologies such as bionic perception and cognition, promote the integrated application of new generation information technologies such as 5g, big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence, and improve the level of robot intelligence and networking. Universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises are encouraged to jointly tackle key core technologies and further improve the industrial technology innovation chain.

It will lay a solid foundation for development in key core parts such as reducer, control system and servo motor, promote the joint research of industry, University and application, and improve the function, performance and reliability of key parts of the robot. Actively participate in international standardization, encourage robot standardization organizations to benchmark international advanced standards, and continuously promote the improvement of robot standardization level. Improve the robot detection and certification system, and carry out the standard level and industry certification level of robot function, performance and safety.

To meet the needs of manufacturing, mining, construction, agriculture, family services, public services, health and elderly care, special environment operations and other fields, gather advantageous resources, and focus on promoting the development, promotion and application of key products of industrial robots, service robots and special robots. Actively promote the opening of more application scenarios, deeply cultivate and develop more customers in the fields of automobile, electronics and other large-scale applications, meet the needs of customers in the fields of mining, construction, agriculture and medical rehabilitation, and develop and expand new application products and solutions.
